A favourite of market farmers, Farao is easy to grow with the ability to hold in the garden or field for an extended time without splitting. 1.3-1.8kg (3-4lb) heads size up early and are crunchy and sweet. Best grown spring through summer for fresh eating. Farao's flavour and fantastic texture shines when made into coleslaw.
